Super Massive song 'Fists In My Pocket' the theme music for Bleach Festival 2026

We're playing the Opening Night of Bleach Festival 2026 on Thursday 1 October, which is incredibly exciting..... but to top that off, our song Fists In My Pocket, is also the theme music for this year's festival. Wow! What a tremendous honour.

So! How cool. Super Massive is providing the soundtrack to the psychedelic Spring Awakening that is Bleach 2026 – Amazing! : )

BLEACH LAUNCH PARTY

We went to the launch party for the full Bleach 2026 program at HOTA Theatre on 15 July and it was a thrill to hear Bleach's charismatic Festival Director Felix Preval talk with irrepressible exuberance about the full, sensational, arts program he's put together, which includes major national legends like Legs On The Wall (who we cannot wait to see!) to inspiring internationals like the incendiary Lady Blackbird, alongside a host of local Gold Coast acts who will be sharing the new lakeside Live Music Stage with us.

We ate a lot of unbelievably superb karaage chicken and drank delicious, psychedelic blue grapefruit vodka cocktails, and it was honestly like a dream sequence or a page in Alice In Wonderland just to be there, amidst dozens of other Gold Coast creatives, with Fists weaving its delicately bombastic aural tendrils through the party crowd.

Now......... 10 weeks to count down until showtime! Put our show in the diary, friends! - THURSDAY 1 OCTOBER, 6pm!!!
